The HC-V130 supports a better memory card type than most comparable spec video cameras that have been available for a similar time to it. This Panasonic video camera supports an SDXC memory card, whereas most video cameras of a similar age and spec to it support an SD memory card. This video camera also supports an SDHC memory card. SDXC cards are SD cards but with a much higher capacity and faster processing speeds. They have a maximum capacity of 2TB (Terabytes).
An SDXC memory card is in fact the best supported memory card type amongst all camcorders of a comparable age and type to the HC-V130.
A MicroSD (Transflash) memory card is the worst supported memory card type amongst similar types of camcorder.
SDHC cards are DS cards with a higher capacity of up to 32GB.
