The Vivitar DVR794 does not have an image stabiliser, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other camcorders of a similar type and age to the DVR794 also do not have an image stabiliser.
There are a number of alternative video cameras which also have an image stabiliser that you might want to look at including the ION DashCam (£69.96), the Vivitar DVR936 (£63.97), or the HTC RE Digital Camera which also has a higher rating.

Like most of the other video cameras that came out more than two years ago, the Vivitar DVR794 does not have an HDMI port.
We compared all the other video cameras which also have an HDMI port to this video camera and we think the ION DashCam (£69.96), or the Veho MUVI K-Series K1 (£76.89) which is also higher rated is also worth considering.
Does Not Have an Interchangeable Lens
The Vivitar DVR794 does not have an interchangeable lens, although keep in mind that most of the other similar spec camcorders that have been around for more than two years also do not have an interchangeable lens.
