Several Benq G1 owners who reviewed it reckoned that it was able to produce good images. Three years ago Amazon Customer said on Amazon “Although it doesn't have all the effects of the BenQ, I think that the Lumix pictures are slightly better” and scored the product 4 stars. Ed.f said in their Benq G1 review on Amazon in the same month “It offers up to 14M pixels as image size and the resultant pictures are clear, crisp”. Ed.f also wrote “On a standard 4Gb SD card (which doesn't come with the camera, you have to provide you own) you can fit about 3000 Jpeg images which is enough for most holidays”.
Some people who reviewed it concluded that it had a good image sensor. Ed.f mentioned in their Benq G1 review on Amazon “The camera has a fast CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 lens linked to the usual point” and rated this digital camera 4 stars. G. Wylie mentioned in their review three years ago “It has a 14 megapixel sensor and the lens provides an equivalent range of 24-110mm; a reasonable zoom” . John mentioned in his review of the Benq G1 “There is a mid-range CMOS sensor and an adequate number of shooting modes that don't overly complicate or confuse”.
Three Benq G1 owners concluded that the Benq G1 had a good picture resolution. G. Wylie wrote on Amazon “It also offers a continuous shooting mode of 6 frames per second to catch that action shot”. G. Wylie also said “It also has an interesting range of shooting modes which, among other things, allow for low-light shooting”. John mentioned “The low rate continuous shooting mode given the fast CMOS sensor the G1 carries” in his review.
A few people said in their reviews that the product was good in low light. John scored the Benq G1 80 out of 100 and he mentioned in his review of the Benq G1 on Amazon “Colour saturation and reproduction even in low light is consistently good”.
One customer who reviewed the Benq G1 said that it was able to produce clear pictures. G. Wylie wrote in their review of this digital camera “I particularly liked the clarity of the swivel screen”.
