A few customers who purchased it thought it was thin. Pcmag.com wrote on expert website PC Mag two years ago “The Panasonic Lumix DMC-XS1 ($129.99) is a shockingly slim pocket shooter with a 16-megapixel CCD image sensor”. Ephotozine.com mentioned on Ephotozine “The Panasonic Lumix XS1 has been announced, with an ultra thin body, just 14mm at the thinnest point”. Photographyblog.com wrote on expert review site PhotographyBlog.com “Designed primarily for the happy snapper, this super thin camera sports a 16 megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, 24mm wide-angle lens”.
