A Bit Expensive

A few people who reviewed the product considered that it was not cheap. Ian Wantling said in December last year “A rather expensive and a bit of a specialist piece of technology” in his review of the Ricoh GR. J. Matthews mentioned “Yes it's expensive for a compact camera with no zoom.” in their review of the Ricoh GR but despite that they scored it 5 stars. Micpool said “At the new lower price is a slightly less expensive novelty than the original Theta” and gave this digital camera a rating of 1 stars.

Seven Ricoh GR owners who purchased the product reckoned that it was not good value for money. Helena Belizky wrote on Amazon “Very much a pricey toy and is very easy to use”. Iain Mcarthur wrote in their review of the Ricoh GR “At a considerably higher price level” however despite that they still scored it very highly. Last year Karl said on Amazon “However, generally this is not worth the price and definitely not suitable for anyone requiring professional looking results”.

One person who purchased the Ricoh GR reckoned that it was not a bargain for the price. Mo wrote on Amazon last year “I'm pretty sure that point-and-shoot panoramic technology isn't cheap from any company at the moment - I'm deliberately saying point”.
