Good Quality Lens

One customer who reviewed the Samsung ST100 reckoned that it had a good zoom. Five years ago Gadgetspeak.com said “User friendly, dual screens occasionally useful, internally folded optical zoom offers 35 175mm” in their review of the Samsung ST100 and scored the product 4 stars.

CCD Sensor Type

This digital camera has a CCD sensor type, which is typical of many cameras of this type and age. CCD sensors produce high quality, low-noise images but consume a lot more power than CMOS sensors. CCD is the most common image sensor type used in digital cameras.

We compared all the other cameras that have a CCD sensor to this camera and we think the Sony DSC-H400 (£222.10) which is cheaper; or the WB150, and the WB150F both from Samsung which has better reviews are also worth considering.
