3 Other reasons to consider the Sony DSC-W800

Released Over Two Years Ago

It was over two years ago when Sony released the DSC-W800.

Average Optical Zoom

The Sony DSC-W800 has a relatively standard optical zoom (5 times zoom factor) compared to most of the other compact camera digital cameras that are a similar age to the DSC-W800.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 5x optical zoom cameras currently available including cheaper digital cameras such as the Nikon Coolpix L27[plb_1968351_price].

Cameras with a bigger optical zoom that might also be worth considering include the Canon IXUS 145[plb_2166060_price] (8x) which is also higher rated.

Average Screen Size

The DSC-W800 has a fairly typical screen size (2.7 inches) compared to most of the other similar spec cameras that have been available for more than two years.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other 2.7" screen cameras currently available including a cheaper camera such as the Nikon Coolpix L27[plb_1968351_price] or you might consider a better rated camera such as the Canon IXUS 145[plb_2166060_price].

If you would prefer a larger screen size then you might want to look at the Kodak Pixpro FZ151[plb_2596074_price] (3").
