Has a Touch Sensitive Screen

The Advent Tacto has a touch sensitive screen, unlike most of the other laptops that have been available for a similar time to the Tacto which do not have a touch sensitive screen.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative laptops with a touch sensitive screen currently available including the Lenovo Z500, the Sony VAIO Fit 14 SVF1421P2E, or the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 which has better reviews.

Expert review site PC Advisor.co.uk scored this Advent notebook PC 60%. Laptop experts aren't convinced by this notebook PC.

Does Not Have a Front Camera

The Advent Tacto does not have a front camera, although keep in mind that most of the other laptops of this age and spec also do not have a front camera.

It is worth considering other laptops which also have a front camera including the G50-45, or the W540 both from Lenovo or the Acer Aspire One AO722 which is also higher rated.

Does Not Have a Full-Size Keyboard

The Advent Tacto does not have a full-size keyboard, although this is within the context that most of the other portable PCs of a similar age and type to the Tacto also do not have a full-size keyboard.

It is worth also looking at other portable PCs which also have a full-size keyboard including the Fujitsu LifeBook E752, the Lenovo G50-45, or the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP300 which is also higher rated.

Very Small Screen Size

The Advent Tacto has a fairly small screen size (only 11.6 inches) compared to most of the other notebook PCs of this spec and age. Across all the portable PCs that are a similar age to the Tacto the screen sizes range from 10" to 18".

We think you might also be interested in some of the other 11.6" notebook PCs currently available including because of it's better review score, the Aspire One AO722, or the Aspire One AO725 both from Acer or the HP EliteBook 2170p (£539.00).

If this Advent notebook PC screen size is too small for you then you might also want to consider the Surface Pro 3 (12"), the Surface Pro 3 (12"), or the Surface Pro 3 (12") all from Microsoft which also has a higher rating.
