A few people who purchased it agreed that it was thin. Laptopmag.com said “The Alienware 13 ($1,699, starting at $999) is the company's thinnest gaming laptop to date” in their review of the Alienware 13. This month Cnet.co.uk mentioned on expert review site CNET.co.uk “There are thinner gaming laptops out there” in their review of this laptop and gave it a rating of 80 out of 100. In December last year Expertreviews.co.uk scored this laptop 80 out of 100 and mentioned in their review of the Alienware 13 “A well-built, thin and light gaming laptop with great battery life, while the optional Graphics Amplifier is a fascinating addition”.

A few Alienware 13 reviewers wrote in their reviews that this laptop was compact. Expert review site Hothardware.com said in December this year “Dell's Alienware division stepped up today with a new, compact and powerful weapon in its laptop arsenal with the announcement of the redesigned Alienware 13 notebook” in their review of the Alienware 13. Macworld.com mentioned on expert review site Mac World in December “The combination of a gorgeous OLED screen and Nvidia's GTX 1060 makes games look fantastic on this portable notebook” in their review. Cnet.co.uk said on expert website CNET.co.uk this year “For something truly different and eye-catching”. Expert review site Gizmodo.com wrote “Keyboard sounds pretty damn fantastic.” in their review of the Alienware 13.

One Alienware 13 owner who bought it considered that it was smooth. In December Amazon Customer wrote in their review “It's great to look at, smooth” and rated it as very good. One customer said that the product was a good design.

Good Product Quality

Some people said in their reviews that the Alienware 13 was good quality. This month Hothardware.com mentioned “High resolution 3200 1800) and high quality IGZO display with touch support” in their review of the Alienware 13. Hothardware.com also wrote “Great aesthetics and build quality”. Expert review site Notebookcheck.net scored it 4 stars and mentioned “Besides the build quality and the nice design the display in particular is a highlight” in their review of this laptop.
