We calculated the average reviews for all Apple notebook PCs and also specifically for Apple MacBooks and found that in both cases Apple had excellent reviews compared to other manufacturers.

SSD Storage Medium

The MacBook Pro Late 2013 Retina has a better storage medium than most laptops that are a similar age to it. This notebook PC has an SSD storage medium, whereas most portable PCs that were launched around the same time as it have an HDD storage medium. Flash drives store data in semiconductors on a circuit board rather than using magnetic or optical media. Flash have no moving parts which makes them very fast and reliable.

An SSD storage medium is actually the best storage medium across all portable PCs of this age and spec.
