We calculated the average ratings for all DELL laptops and specifically for DELL few processor core laptops and found that in both cases DELL had good ratings compared to other brands.
SSD Storage Medium
The DELL Latitude 12 7000 has a better storage medium than most few processor core laptops that are less than a year old. This laptop has an SSD storage medium, whereas most newly released notebooks have an HDD storage medium. Solid State Drives (SSD) store data in semiconductors on a circuit board rather than using magnetic or optical media. Solid State Drives have no moving parts which makes them very fast and reliable. The best storage medium of all new similar spec portable PCs is Flash and the worst is HDD.
The DELL Latitude 12 7000 has a better processor family than most new portable PCs. This laptop has an Intel Core i5-4xxx processor family, whereas most new notebooks have an Intel Core i5-5xxx processor family. Similar spec notebooks that were launched around the same time as the Latitude 12 7000 processor families range from Intel Celeron (worst) to Intel Core i7-4xxx (best).
