The Pavilion x360 11-n011dx has an HDD storage medium which is better than the SSD storage medium found on most 2 in 1 laptops that came out around the same time as it. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
This laptop's storage medium (HDD) is actually the worst storage medium across all notebook PCs of this spec and age.
Across comparable types of laptop the best storage medium is SSD.
It may also be worth considering one of the other notebook PCs that have an HDD storage media currently available including the FLEX 15, the Flex, or the Flex 10 all from Lenovo which is cheaper.
If the storage medium of this portable PC is not good enough for you then you might also want to consider the Satellite U920t (£679.54) (SSD and cheaper), or the Satellite U920t (£767.65) (SSD and cheaper) both from Toshiba.
