The more recent Bios update and the latest drivers from HP plus the latest drivers from Intel for Bluetooth and Wifi. Then disable power management on the Bluetooth and Wifi will make Windows 8.1 run
Let's just say I gave up on Windows 7
There are no cons
Only downside is the screen has a reflective finish so if you are on in a well lit room you can sometimes see yourself. Not the biggest concern but more of a warning to those that don't like this
