The Lenovo Flex 2 has a better storage medium than most laptops of a similar age and type to it. This laptop has an HDD storage medium, whereas most 2 in 1 laptops that were released more than two years ago have an SSD storage medium. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
An HDD storage medium is in fact the worst storage medium across all 2 in 1 laptops that came out more than two years ago.
Across comparable types of portable PC the best storage medium is SSD.
Alternative portable PCs that have an HDD storage media currently available that you might also want to look at include the Lenovo Yoga which has better reviews; or the Yoga, or the Flex 14 both from Lenovo which is cheaper.
If the storage medium of this Lenovo laptop is too bad for you then you might want to look at the Satellite U920t (SSD), or the U920t (SSD) both from Toshiba which is also cheaper.
