Performs extremely well with FreeBSD. The throughput of this card is what you expect. No issues booting directly from SSD (again, expected)
Wasn't terribly expensive, plug and play in Windows 2012 2, connected to a Norco DS 24E chassis with 15 2TB harddrives, and immediately recognized SMART and for the first time I have run server 2 week
Excellent performance, even in a PCIe 2 8x slot. With 6 SAT 3 drives (WD Red) connected, I can read at 900MBs over 6 channels. Very stable under Linux 3.4 kernel. From what I've read, this HBA can onl
This monitor would be good for daily, social media use, watching movies and video streaming. It feels well built and has a wide range of ports
Watching movies on it is nice, since the wider display let's you watch widescreen movies, natively, without the black bars
None at present, will add another review if this changes
Only has a small passive heatsink that runs very hot. I added a spot cooler to it, to extend it's lifespan. It's probably designed to be run in a high airflow environment, like a 1U server with blower
The 14ms response time makes it really difficult to game on or even edit videos. The overall video editing speed was decreased, the overall in-game accuracy and efficiency was significantly reduced
I also experienced some minor problems while watching movies, sometimes the high response time makes the video feel a bit out of sync with the audio
I bought this planning to try ultra-wide screen gaming and for artwork and editing
