The Yoga 2 11 has a better storage medium than most 2 in 1 laptops that were released more than a year ago. This portable PC has an HDD storage medium, whereas most 2 in 1 laptops that were released one year ago have an SSD storage medium. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
This laptop's storage medium (HDD) is actually the worst storage medium across all similar spec portable PCs that were released around the same time as the Yoga 2 11.
Across comparable types of laptop the best storage medium is SSD.
There are a number of alternative notebook PCs that have an HDD storage media currently available that you might also want to look at including because of it's better review score, the Lenovo Yoga.
If the storage medium of this notebook PC is not good enough for you then you might want to look at the DELL Inspiron 13 (Hybrid-HDD), or the Lenovo Flex 2 (Hybrid-HDD) which is also cheaper.
