Good Brand

Medium processor core notebook PCs produced by Toshiba have good ratings on average compared to other manufacturers. We also checked the reviews for all notebook PCs (not just medium processor core notebook PCs) and found that Toshiba also has good ratings across its entire range.

Good Battery Life

Several people who reviewed it wrote that it had a good battery life. Digitaltrends.com wrote in their review “Tons of storage (almost 7 hours of DVD-level video) Excellent battery life (over 2 hours) Easy-to-follow onscreen menus Records acceptable at best video outdoors Good supplied software bundle” and scored it 4 stars.

Good Size

A number of people said in their reviews that it was a good weight. Two years ago expert website Notebookcheck.net wrote “Low weight seems compelling”. Also two years ago Itproportal.com mentioned “It combines a reasonably light weight with some features business users will particularly like”.

Easy to Use

One customer who bought it concluded that it was easy to use the menus.

One Toshiba R30 owner said in their reviews that it was easy to use. Expert review site Notebookreview.com said in December last year “In an era dominated by Ultrabooks, Toshiba's more traditional Portegé R30 stands almost alone as one of the few 13.3″ notebooks to use a “full wattage” Intel processor” in their review of this laptop but even so they only rated it 64 out of 100.
