A few Acer 206HQ reviewers who purchased the Acer 206HQ said that it was good value for money. Amazon Customer wrote in their review of the Acer 206HQ two years ago “Good value” . D. 1080p Video Mode

The most resolution of the Acer 206HQ is 1080p. That's 50% more resolution than a 720p flatpanel monitor, which is the most frequently found resolution. 720p is also found on this Acer PC screen. In addition, this PC screen has a 1080i video mode.

This PC monitor's resolution (1080p) is actually the best resolution across all small monitors that have been available for more than two years.

One Acer 206HQ reviewer thought this PC monitor was not good in terms of HDMI connections. A Palmer wrote “I ordered this for the HDMI connection and it is NOT HDMI” in their Acer 206HQ review.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The Acer 206HQ does not have a built-in speaker, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other small monitors that have been available for a comparable time to the 206HQ also do not have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other PC screens which also have a built-in speaker to this PC screen and we think the Philips 17S1AB, the Fujitsu B19-6, or the Hanns.G HX193D is also worth considering.

Not 3D Compatible

Most PC screens that are a similar age to the 206HQ are not 3D compatible. The Acer 206HQ is no exception to this as it too is not 3D compatible.

PC monitors which are 3D compatible that might also be worth looking at include the AVUE AVL104MDE, the Neovo C-17 (£96.61), or the Samsung SMT-1934 (£133.00).

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

The Acer 206HQ does not have a built-in camera. Most of the other similar spec PC screens that have been around for a comparable time to the 206HQ also do not have a built-in camera.

We think you might also be interested in other LCD screens which also have a built-in camera including the VK193SE, or the VK207 (£124.99) both from Asus or the Acer 193L.

The Acer 206HQ does not have an integrated card reader. Most of the other small monitors that were released more than two years ago also do not have an integrated card reader.

It is worth considering alternative LCD screens which also have an integrated card reader including the Samsung LS20C300.

As others have already pointed out, this model only has a VGA port. The monitor comes with the VGA cable, UK power cord and a European power cord, but not a user manual. Tilt feature works.
