Asus Has Good LCD Screen Reviews
We calculated the average reviews for all Asus PC monitors and also specifically for Asus medium monitors and found that in both cases Asus had good reviews.
Easy to Use
One Asus MX27 reviewer reckoned that it was easy to assemble.
LED Display Type
This LCD screen has an LED display type, which is the most commonly found display type on medium monitors that have been around for a similar time to it.
We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative PC screens that have an LED Display currently available including the Acer XG270HU[plb_2846714_price], or the Asus PB287Q[plb_3869741_price] which has better reviews.

Has a Built-In Speaker
The Asus MX27 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other medium monitors that have been on the market for the last year also have a built-in speaker.
Alternative PC displays with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to look at include the Lenovo X1[plb_3755263_price] which has better reviews.
Very Large Color Gamut
The average color gamut of comparable spec PC displays that came out around the same time as the MX27 is 82%, and the color gamuts range from 68% to 110%. With a color gamut of 100 percent, the Asus MX27 has one of the largest color gamuts amongst medium monitors of this age.
Two HDMI Ports
The Asus MX27 is a two HDMI port PC display. Most of the other latest medium monitors have between one and three HDMI ports.
2560 X 1440 Graphics Resolution

Like most of the other medium monitors that are a similar age to the MX27, the Asus MX27 is not 3D compatible.
Does Not Have a Built-In Camera
The Asus MX27 does not have a built-in camera, although this is within the context that most of the other similar spec PC screens that have been around for around the same time as the MX27 also do not have a built-in camera.
We compared all the other PC displays which also have a built-in camera to this flatpanel monitor and we think the Lenovo X1[plb_3755263_price] which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.
Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader
The Asus MX27 does not have an integrated card reader, although it is worth noting that most of the other medium monitors that are a similar age to the MX27 also do not have an integrated card reader.
We think you might also be interested in other PC monitors which also have an integrated card reader including the 2407WFP[pl_3247392_price], or the 2408WFP[pl_3249739_price] both from DELL which is also higher rated.

The most commonly found cable included is AC, but this cable included is not found on this Asus flatpanel monitor. The cables included DisplayPort, HDMI and MHL are also found on this PC screen.
Quite High Power Consumption When Off
At 0.5 Watts, the Asus MX27 has a fairly high power consumption when off compared to most of the other comparable spec LCD screens that were launched in the last 12 months. The lowest power consumption when off of new medium monitors is 0.005W and the highest is 350W.
