Nice Design

Two Eizo Foris FG2421 reviewers who reviewed it reckoned that it was good looking. Amazon Customer wrote in their review of this PC monitor “All I see are the latest generation pixels looking beautiful”. Two years ago Sdg368 mentioned in their review on Amazon “With less color accuracy, saying that the colors are still beautiful”.

Reasonably Priced

A number of Eizo Foris FG2421 owners who bought it mentioned that it was a bargain for the price. J. Hotchkiss wrote on Amazon “I also tried messing with the settings, which are otherwise excellent and offer a great deal of flexibility” in their review of this PC monitor but in spite of that they rated it 40 out of 100. J. Hotchkiss also wrote “Compared to some ancient ViewSonic TFTs, purchased more cheaply, this was very disappointing; those displayed the same uniform red projection without any backlight bleed or visible effects”. Two years ago Sdg368 wrote in their review “So I stopped at the Eizo which I had found at a bargain price of”.

Robust

Two people concluded that the Eizo Foris FG2421 was well made. J. Hotchkiss mentioned in their Eizo Foris FG2421 review “Aside from the visual quality issues, I was actually very impressed with the build quality & fidelity of the monitor” .

Good Product Quality

Several Eizo Foris FG2421 reviewers who reviewed the Eizo Foris FG2421 reckoned that it was good quality. Ian Johnson mentioned “Quality looks good could not use it as wrong mains lead was” but even so he rated it 3 stars. Stylianos said in their review “Good build quality, combined with eizo's long term warranty” and gave it a score of 5 stars. Stylianos also said “If you are looking for a gaming monitor that outperforms and has better image quality than the popular ASUS”.

Difficult to Use

A number of customers who reviewed the Eizo Foris FG2421 agreed that it was not easy to use. J. Hotchkiss wrote two years ago “I went through two of these monitors in case the first was just a fluke of bad quality control”. R Crane rated the product 40 out of 100 and mentioned in their review of the Eizo Foris FG2421 “Playing games, there it was, just off centre, which in an FPS is just off the crosshair.I had read poor quality control issues plagued this monitor”.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The Foris FG2421 does not have a built-in speaker, although it is worth noting that most of the other LCD screens of this age and spec also do not have a built-in speaker.

It is worth also looking at other LCD screens which also have a built-in speaker including the iiyama XB2483HSU[plb_1611035_price] which is also higher rated.

Not 3D Compatible

The Eizo Foris FG2421 is not 3D compatible. Most of the other LCD screens that have been around for a similar time to the Foris FG2421 are also not 3D compatible.

If you would prefer a PC monitor that is 3D compatible then you might want to consider the Asus VG23AH[plb_1411330_price] which also has a higher rating.
