4 Reasons For

Average Expert Reviews

Based on three expert reviews from sites including komputer.dk, 01net.com and pctidningen.se the average expert rating of this PC display is 73 out of 100.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The HP 2510i has a built-in speaker. Most of the other medium monitors that were released more than two years ago do not have a built-in speaker.

We compared this LCD screen to all the other flatpanel monitors with a built-in speaker and we think because of it's better review score, the AOC e2260Swhu, the Samsung 320MXN-3, and the Panasonic PLCD20P is also worth considering.

Very Fast Response Time

The HP 2510i has one of the faster response times (only 2.5 milliseconds) amongst medium monitors of this age. The average response time of PC displays of a comparable type and age to the 2510i is 6.1ms, and the response times range from 1ms to 40ms.

6 Reasons Against

A Bit Expensive

One HP 2510i owner who purchased the HP 2510i thought it was not good value for money. Expert website Evogadget.com said four years ago “This 25-inch is not an “empty-wallet”, thanks to a good price and a moderate power consumption” .

Not 3D Compatible

The HP 2510i is not 3D compatible, although this is within the context that most of the other PC monitors of a similar spec and age to the 2510i are also not 3D compatible.

PC displays which are 3D compatible that might be worth looking at include the D2769, or the d2757Ph both from AOC or the NEC MultiSync P241 which is also higher rated.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Most flatpanel monitors of a similar type and age to the 2510i do not have a built-in camera. The HP 2510i is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in camera.

We think you might also be interested in alternative flatpanel monitors which also have a built-in camera including the Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display, the Philips C272P4, or the Lenovo LT2323z which is also higher rated.

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

Most flatpanel monitors of this spec and age do not have an integrated card reader. The HP 2510i is no exception to this as it too does not have an integrated card reader.

We compared all the other PC monitors which also have an integrated card reader to this LCD screen and we think the U2413 (£279.00), or the U2713H (£349.00) both from DELL or the Acer DA220 (£373.92) is also worth considering.

The horizontal viewing angles of PC screens of a similar age and type to the 2510i range from 60° to 1,800°.

Chart Edit

Heavy

With a weight of 7 kilograms, the HP 2510i is fairly heavy compared to most of the other flatpanel monitors of this age and spec. Similar spec PC screens that have been around for a comparable time to the 2510i have weights of between 3g and 39kg, and the average weight is 4.9kg.

LCD Display Type

The HP 2510i has a better display type than most LCD screens of this type and age. This LCD screen has an LCD display type, whereas most medium monitors that were released more than two years ago have an LED display type.

Alternative LCD screens that have an LCD Display currently available which you might want to consider include the Samsung 320MXN-3, the AVUE AVK10S22W, or the Wortmann AG Terra 2445W which has better reviews.
