A few HP ZR2440 owners mentioned in their reviews that this PC monitor was good quality. Expert review site Pcmag.com said in their review of this PC monitor “The ZR2440w ($425 list), uses a 24-inch IPS (In Plane Switching) panel with LED backlighting to deliver excellent color quality and wide viewing angles” and rated the product 80 out of 100. Pcmag.com also wrote “The HP ZR2440w is a versatile 24-inch IPS monitor that delivers outstanding color quality and is loaded with ergonomic”.

A Bit Expensive

A number of people wrote in their reviews that it was not cheap. Macworld.com said in their review of the HP ZR2440 on expert website Mac World “The 24-inch HP ZR2440w was the most expensive monitor in our latest test group.” nonetheless they gave it a score of 4 stars. Expert website Pcworld.com_techhive.com said in their review “The ZR2440w is a fairly expensive display.”.

Pricey

We think this medium monitor looks expensive compared to other PC screens of a similar age and type. We checked 534 PC screens of a similar age and type and they range in price from £51 to £5,421.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

Most medium monitors that have been available for more than two years do not have a built-in speaker. The HP ZR2440 is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in speaker.

We compared this PC screen to all the other PC screens with a built-in speaker and we think the Samsung S27B971[plb_1475646_price], the Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display[plb_1794077_price], or the HP ENVY 27[plb_1918669_price] is also worth considering.
