Reasonably Priced

Two people who purchased it considered that it was good value for money. Mr Baz he wrote on Amazon in October last year “Quite happy with this nothing fancy a normal slim line LED monitor it's more than good enough for general use and the price paid was very reasonable too” in his LG 20M35 review. Nero mentioned “Great value for the money” in their LG 20M35 review.

Nice Design

One LG 20M35 reviewer mentioned in their reviews that the product was good looking. Mr Baz he said in his review “HDMI if there is it's pretty small (VGA is analogue the others digital)Front screen is a matte effect not glossy”.

LG has good average reviews for its small monitors as well as across its entire PC monitor range compared to other manufacturers.

LED Display Type

This PC monitor has an LED display type, which is typical of many PC screens of a similar spec and age to it.

We compared this PC monitor to all the other flatpanel monitors that have an LED Display and we think the e966Swn[pl_1364968_price], and the A2072[pl_2248320_price] both from AOC or the Fujitsu L20T-5[plb_2192605_price] which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Very Low Power Consumption When Off

The lowest power consumption when off of comparable spec flatpanel monitors that are a similar age to the 20M35 is 0.1W, the highest is 5W, and the average power consumption when off is 0.52W. With a power consumption when off of only 0.3 Watts, the LG 20M35 has a fairly low power consumption when off compared to most of the other similar spec PC displays that are a comparable age to the 20M35.

1600 X 900 Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution of the LG 20M35 is 1600 x 900. That's 13% more resolution than the most common graphics resolution of 1280 x 1024 (SXGA). This flatpanel monitor also has a graphics resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD 720). The worst resolution of all small monitors that were released more than two years ago is 640 x 350 and the best is 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080).

Has One Cable Included

The number of cables included found on the LG 20M35 is more than most small monitors that have been on the market for around the same time as it. The most frequently found cable included is VGA, but this cable included is not found on this LG LCD screen. The cables included AC are also found on this LG flatpanel monitor.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

Most small monitors that have been available for around the same time as the 20M35 do not have a built-in speaker. The LG 20M35 is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in speaker.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other PC monitors of this spec and age, the LG 20M35 is not 3D compatible.

Flatpanel monitors which are 3D compatible that might also be worth considering include the AVUE AVL104MDE[plb_2070675_price], the Neovo C-17[plb_2287203_price], or the Samsung SMT-1934[plb_1414675_price] which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Like most of the other small monitors that have been available for a comparable time to the 20M35, the LG 20M35 does not have a built-in camera.

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

The LG 20M35 does not have an integrated card reader. Most of the other PC monitors of this type and age also do not have an integrated card reader.

The narrowest vertical viewing angle of LCD screens of a comparable type and age to the 20M35 is 40°, the widest is 180°, and the average vertical viewing angle is 140°. With a vertical viewing angle of only 65 degrees, the LG 20M35 has one of the narrower vertical viewing angles amongst small monitors of this age.

This was bought as a replacement for an older smaller monitor, nothing fancy required other than a respectable display, this fits the bill on that front and for a basic monitor does well.
