The HP Z840 has a faster storage speed than most similar spec computers that have been around for more than two years. This personal computer has an HDD storage medium, whereas most many processor core PCs that are a similar age to it have a Flash storage medium. A Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is the traditional storage method for computers. A HDD stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are cheap, but they are slower than Flash and SSD bases storage systems.
We compared all the other HDD personal computers to this desktop computer and we think the D30 (£1,500.00), and the P900 (£1,748.98) both from Lenovo which is cheaper is also worth considering.
If you would prefer a PC with a faster storage speed then you might want to consider the P900 (£2,085.37) (SSD), or the Thinkstation P500 (£2,137.94) (SSD) both from Lenovo.
