A Bit Expensive

A number of Acer S1210 reviewers reckoned that the product was not cheap. Expertreviews.co.uk said on expert review site Expert Reviews “You need to position the projector accurately and it's expensive” in their review of the Acer S1210. Expert website Alphr.com said “The S1210 is one of the least expensive short-throw projectors around”.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

Most similar spec data projectors that are a comparable age to the S1210 do not support 3D image projection. The Acer S1210 is no exception to this as it too does not support 3D image projection.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Acer S1210 does not support Full HD projection. Most of the other 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the S1210 also do not support Full HD projection.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the CP-A302WNM[pl_1864470_price], the CP-WX3530WN[pl_1913085_price], or the CP-AW312WNM[pl_1915238_price] all from Hitachi which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Acer S1210 does not support WiFi connectivity, although it is worth noting that most of the other 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that are a similar age to the S1210 also do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other projectors which also support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think the L51W[pl_1496151_price], or the NP-P451[pl_1547970_price] both from NEC or the Panasonic PT-VX505NE[plb_1788307_price] which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

A bright lamp and colourful DLP technology make the S1210's image vibrant and the short throw ratio is useful, but you need to position the projector accurately and it's expensive...
