1920 X 1080 (HD 1080) Graphics Resolution

The Acer X112 supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's 8% more resolution than a 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors of this spec and age. 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out around the same time as the X112 graphics resolutions range from 640 x 480 (VGA) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

Poor Support

One Acer X112 reviewer mentioned that the Acer X112 did not have good technical guidance. Malcolm a said on Amazon “The CD which contained installation guide was warped and unreadable” in his review of the Acer X112 but he still gave the Acer X112 a score of 4 stars.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The Acer X112 does not have a built-in speaker, unlike most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out around the same time as the X112 which have a built-in speaker.

The Acer X112 does not support 3D image projection, unlike most of the other projectors that have been available for more than two years.

The Acer X112 does not support Full HD projection, although this is within the context that most of the other similar spec data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the X112 also do not support Full HD projection.

It is worth also looking at alternative projectors which also support Full HD projection including the Benq MS504[plb_2024728_price] which also has a higher rating.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 2,700 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available including because of it's better review score, the Benq MX503[plb_1418386_price].
