The highest resolution supported by the Canon LV-7490 is 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution supported by 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that are a comparable age to the LV-7490. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this multimedia projector. In addition, this projector support graphics resolutions of 720 x 480 and 720 x 576 and 1280 x 720 (HD 720). Across all similar spec projectors that came out around the same time as the LV-7490 the resolution ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) (worst) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) (best).

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The LV-7490 does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other similar spec multimedia projectors that came out around the same time as the LV-7490 also do not support 3D image projection.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at including the Hitachi CP-DH300[plb_2149864_price] which also has a higher rating.
