Supports WiFi Connectivity

The Casio XJ-M146 supports WiFi connectivity, unlike most of the other 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago which do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the XJ-M256[pl_2819964_price], and the XJ-A147[pl_2469836_price] both from Casio is also worth considering.

It is worth also looking at other multimedia projectors which also support WiFi connectivity including the Casio XJ-M246[plb_2819973_price].

The XJ-M146 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for around the same time as the XJ-M146.

Alternative multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might want to look at include because of it's better review score, the XG-P560WN[pl_1898103_price], or the XG-P610X-N[pl_2467453_price] both from Sharp or the Casio XJ-M140[plb_2428122_price].

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The Casio XJ-M146 has a quite dim projector brightness (only 2,500 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other projectors of a comparable type and age to the XJ-M146. The dimmest projector brightness of comparable spec projectors that are a similar age to the XJ-M146 is 400 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 6,000 ANSI lumens.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other 2,500 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors and we think the XJ-A147[pl_2469836_price], the XJ-M140[pl_2428122_price], and the XJ-A242[pl_2571903_price] all from Casio which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If you would prefer a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to look at the XJ-M156[pl_2757562_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens), the XJ-A252[pl_2757589_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens), or the XJ-M256[pl_2819964_price] (3,000 ANSI lumens) all from Casio which also has a higher rating.

Comparable spec projectors that have been around for more than two years have optical zooms of between 1.5x and 2x. At only 1.5 times zoom factor, the Casio XJ-M146 has a fairly small optical zoom compared to most of the other data projectors of this spec and age.
