Poor 3D Picture Quality

One customer considered that the Casio XJ-M251 did not have a good 3D picture quality. Pc Mag mentioned “Projection of 3D content limited to PCs” in their review of this projector and scored this projector 3 stars.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most multimedia projectors of this spec and age do not support WiFi connectivity. The Casio XJ-M251 is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other data projectors which also support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think the XJ-M146[pl_2571991_price], or the XJ-M256[pl_2819964_price] both from Casio which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

Most projectors of a comparable type and age to the XJ-M251 do not support 3D image projection. The XJ-M251 is no exception to this as it too does not support 3D image projection.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also support 3D image projection which you might also want to look at including the XJ-M140[pl_2428122_price], or the XJ-M146[pl_2571991_price] both from Casio which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The XJ-M251 does not support Full HD projection. Most of the other 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the XJ-M251 also do not support Full HD projection.

1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago have power consumption in economy mode of between 110W and 150W. With a power consumption in economy mode of 145 Watts, the Casio XJ-M251 has one of the higher power consumption in economy mode amongst similar spec projectors of this age.
