Very Bright Projector Brightness

3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for around the same time as the LC-HDT1000 have projector brightness of between 2,700 ANSI lumens and 10,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 4,500 ANSI lumens. The LC-HDT1000 has a very bright projector brightness (10,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the LC-HDT1000.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The LC-HDT1000 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for the last year also do not support WiFi connectivity.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The LC-HDT1000 does not support Full HD projection, although keep in mind that most of the other similar spec projectors that are a comparable age to the LC-HDT1000 also do not support Full HD projection.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection to this projector and we think the Sony VPL-SW636C (£1,255.75) is also worth considering.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The LC-HDT1000 does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other multimedia projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the LC-HDT1000 also do not support 3D image projection.

Very Short Lamp Service Life

The shortest lamp service life of multimedia projectors that were launched around the same time as the LC-HDT1000 is 3,000h and the longest is 6,000h. The LC-HDT1000 has a quite short lamp service life (only 3,000 hours) compared to most of the other new comparable spec multimedia projectors.

The EIKI LC-HDT1000 has a quite loud noise level (39 decibels) compared to most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the LC-HDT1000. Recently released similar spec multimedia projectors have noise levels of between 21dB and 41dB.

Projectors with a louder noise level that might be worth looking at include the VPL-SW631 (£1,003.02) (28dB), or the VPL-SW636C (£1,255.75) (28dB) both from Sony.
