Supports WiFi Connectivity

Unlike most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been on the market for a similar time to the EB-X18 which do not support WiFi connectivity, the Epson EB-X18 supports WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think cheaper data projectors such as the Acer P1510[plb_2284610_price] is also worth considering.

Like most of the other comparable spec projectors that were launched more than two years ago, the Epson EB-X18 has a built-in speaker.

There are a number of alternative projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might also want to look at including cheaper projectors such as the Acer P1510[plb_2284610_price], or the Epson EB-X20[plb_2017453_price].

It is worth also looking at other data projectors which also have a built-in speaker including the Acer K130[plb_1386931_price].

Like most of the other projectors that were launched more than two years ago, the Epson EB-X18 does not support Full HD projection.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection which you might want to look at including the Acer K137[plb_2190933_price] or the Acer P1510[plb_2284610_price].

Fairly Loud Noise Level

At 37 decibels, the Epson EB-X18 has a fairly loud noise level compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for a comparable time to the EB-X18. The noise levels of 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago range from 28dB to 49dB, and the average noise level is 35dB.

We compared this projector to all the other 37dB noise level projectors and we think a cheaper projector such as the Epson EB-S17[plb_2017452_price] or you might consider a better rated projector such as the Epson EB-X24[plb_2017451_price] are also worth considering.

If you would consider a projector with a louder noise level then you might want to look at the Epson EB-98[plb_1734445_price] (37dB).
