The Home Cinema 3000 supports 3D image projection, which is unusual. Most of the other multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago do not support 3D image projection.

The highest resolution of the Epson Home Cinema 3000 is 1080p (1920x1080). That's over two times the resolution of a WXGA (1280x800) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution. The best resolution of all projectors of a similar type and age to the Home Cinema 3000 is DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) and the worst is VGA (640x480).
