Like most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched more than two years ago, the PowerLite 1262W has a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth considering one of the other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the Epson PowerLite 1222, or the NEC NP-M282 which has better reviews.

That's over four times the resolution of the most common graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this data projector).
