On average Epson 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors have good reviews compared to other manufacturers as do all projectors produced by Epson.

Good Product Quality

Three Epson PowerLite 935W owners who bought the product thought it was good quality. Pcmag.com wrote on PC Mag “The Epson PowerLite 935W WXGA 3LCD Projector delivers excellent quality for data images” in their Epson PowerLite 935W review. Pc Mag said in their review of the Epson PowerLite 935W two years ago “Video quality is far better than average for its kind” and gave it a rating of 80 out of 100.

Supports WiFi Connectivity

The Epson PowerLite 935W supports WiFi connectivity, unlike most of the other data projectors of a similar age and spec to the PowerLite 935W which do not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative projectors which support WiFi connectivity currently available which you might want to consider including because of it's better review score, the Epson PowerLite 1761W, or the AAXA Technologies M2 Micro.

Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other projectors of this spec and age, the PowerLite 935W has a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other data projectors with a built-in speaker to this data projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Asus P1 (£299.00), the NEC U310W, and the Epson PowerLite 1761W is also worth considering.

1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the PowerLite 935W is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this Epson projector). This multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1152 x 864 (XGA+), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). The resolution of all projectors that have been on the market for a similar time to the PowerLite 935W ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) (worst) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) (best).

Like most of the other multimedia projectors of a comparable age and type to the PowerLite 935W, the PowerLite 935W does not support 3D image projection.

We compared this projector to all the other data projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the NEC U310W which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Fairly Loud Noise Level

At 39 decibels, the Epson PowerLite 935W has a fairly loud noise level compared to most of the other data projectors that were launched around the same time as the PowerLite 935W. Across all the data projectors that were released more than two years ago the noise levels range from 28dB to 42dB.

If you would consider a projector with a louder noise level then you might want to look at the Epson PowerLite 1761W (40dB) which is also higher rated.
