Most projectors of this spec and age do not support 3D image projection. The PowerLite Pro Z8255 is no exception to this as it too does not support 3D image projection.

There are a number of alternative multimedia projectors which also support 3D image projection which you might want to look at including the Z8455WUNL, or the PowerLite W16 both from Epson which also has a higher rating.
