10000:1 contrast ratio projectors manufactured by Epson have good ratings on average compared to other brands. We also checked the reviews for all multimedia projectors (not just 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors) and found that Epson also has good ratings across its entire range.

The Epson VS330 supports a maximum resolution of 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+). That's over four times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most common resolution supported by multimedia projectors that have been on the market for more than two years. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1152 x 864 (XGA+), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) and 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+). The resolution of all 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which also support 3D image projection to this projector and we think the NEC M352, or the Optoma ML550 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

The Epson VS330 does not support Full HD projection. Most of the other projectors of a comparable spec and age to the VS330 also do not support Full HD projection.

We compared this data projector to all the other projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the Epson 1975W which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Epson VS330 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other projectors that came out more than two years ago also do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a WiFi connectivity and we think the Benq W1500, or the Epson PowerLite 1222 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightness of comparable spec multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as the VS330 range from 300 ANSI lumens to 12,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 3,300 ANSI lumens. At only 2,700 ANSI lumens, the Epson VS330 has a fairly dim projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that were launched around the same time as the VS330.

Projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might be worth considering include the NEC NP-M282 (2,800 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.
