It is worth considering alternative projectors which also support 3D image projection including the Epson Home Cinema 3000, or the Optoma HD141 (£399.00) which is also higher rated.

With a projector brightness of only 75 ANSI lumens, the BRIX Projector has one of the dimmest projector brightness amongst comparable spec multimedia projectors of this age. The average projector brightness of projectors that have been available for more than two years is 3,000 ANSI lumens, and the projector brightness range from 75 ANSI lumens to 11,000 ANSI lumens.

If this Gigabyte multimedia projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to consider the Home Cinema 3000 (2,300 ANSI lumens), or the EH-TW6600 (£999.00) (2,500 ANSI lumens) both from Epson or the LG PH300 (£350.00) (300 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other data projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the BRIX Projector, the BRIX Projector does not support Full HD projection.

It is worth considering alternative multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection including the Epson Home Cinema 3000, or the Optoma HD141 (£399.00) which also has a higher rating.

Only WVGA (854x480) Native Projector Resolution

The Gigabyte BRIX Projector has a maximum resolution of WVGA (854x480). That's 60% less resolution than the most frequently found native projector resolution of WXGA (1280x800). The worst resolution of all projectors that came out around the same time as the BRIX Projector is VGA (640x480) and the best is DCI 4K (4096 x 2160).
