The highest resolution of the Hitachi CP-X5550 is XGA (1024x768). That's 62% less resolution than the most common native projector resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). The worst resolution of all recently released comparable spec projectors is SVGA (800x600) and the best is DCI 4K (4096 x 2160).
We compared this projector to all the other projectors that have a resolution of XGA (1024x768) and we think cheaper multimedia projectors such as the Optoma X319USTir (£968.45), and the Benq SX920 DLP XGA (£1,141.21) is also worth considering.
If the resolution of this multimedia projector is not high enough for you then you might also want to look at the Sony VPL-SW631 (£918.99) (WXGA (1280x800 and cheaper) and cheaper), or the Optoma W319USTi (£1,059.55) (WXGA (1280x800 and cheaper) and cheaper).
