1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The Infocus IN116A supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's 20% more resolution than a 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by data projectors that have been available for a similar time to the IN116A.

This multimedia projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution across all 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the IN116A.

Across comparable types of multimedia projector the worst supported resolution is 640 x 480 (VGA).

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Infocus IN116A does not support Full HD projection, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for around the same time as the IN116A also do not support Full HD projection.

There are a number of other projectors which also support Full HD projection that you might also want to consider including the Viewsonic PJD7820HD, or the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Infocus IN116A does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other comparable spec projectors that were launched more than two years ago also do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other projectors which also support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think the Optoma EX400 (£533.26), or the Epson EB-Z11005 (£10,189.20) is also worth considering.
