6 Reasons For

LG Projectors Have Good Reviews

We checked the user and expert reviews of hundreds of data projectors to determine an average rating for each multimedia projector brand. On average data projectors made by LG have good reviews from experts and owners.

Supports WiFi Connectivity

The LG BG630 supports WiFi connectivity, which is unusual. Most of the other multimedia projectors of a comparable age and type to the BG630 do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other multimedia projectors which support WiFi connectivity and we think the Ricoh PJ WX4141N which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Supports Full HD Projection

The LG BG630 supports Full HD projection, which is unusual. Most of the other 5000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the BG630 do not support Full HD projection.

We compared all the other projectors which support Full HD projection to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Benq W1060 (£499.96), and the Hitachi CP-AX2503 is also worth considering.

4 Reasons Against

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The LG BG630 does not support 3D image projection, although it is worth noting that most of the other data projectors of a comparable age and type to the BG630 also do not support 3D image projection.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support 3D image projection which you might also want to look at including the Z8455WUNL, or the PowerLite W16 both from Epson which is also higher rated.

Projectors of this type and age have projector brightness of between 2,000 ANSI lumens and 10,000 ANSI lumens. The LG BG630 has a quite dim projector brightness (only 3,200 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other multimedia projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the BG630.

If this 5000:1 contrast ratio data projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to look at the Ricoh PJ WX4141N (3,300 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.
