Very Low Running Costs

The average 1 year running cost of the L102 is only £38 based on average usage levels and energy prices, which makes it one of the cheapest to run data projectors of this age and type.

Supports Full HD Projection

Has a Built-In Speaker

The NEC L102 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for more than two years also have a built-in speaker.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker and we think the Optoma X304M[plb_1726173_price] which is cheaper; or the Benq MH680[plb_1998672_price], and the Epson EB-945[plb_2017456_price] which has better reviews are also worth considering.

The highest resolution supported by the NEC L102 is 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by comparable spec projectors that are a similar age to the L102. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. At only 1,000 ANSI lumen, the NEC L102 has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other data projectors that are a comparable age to the L102. The dimmest projector brightness of 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for around the same time as the L102 is 300 ANSI lumens, the brightest is 12,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 3,300 ANSI lumens.
