The NP-P401W supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors of this age and type. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) and 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

A 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) graphics resolution is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago.
