10 Reasons For

Good Brand

NEC 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors have good ratings on average and across all data projectors NEC is one of the superior manufacturers.

Supports WiFi Connectivity

Unlike most of the other 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been on the market for more than two years which do not support WiFi connectivity, the NP-P501X supports WiFi connectivity.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors which support WiFi connectivity currently available including the L51W, or the NP-P451 (£1,346.94) both from NEC which has better reviews.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The NP-P501X has a built-in speaker. Most of the other data projectors of this type and age also have a built-in speaker.

Chart Edit

Fairly Bright Projector Brightness

The dimmest projector brightness of multimedia projectors that have been available for more than two years is 500 ANSI lumens, the brightest is 13,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 3,700 ANSI lumens. The NP-P501X has one of the brighter projector brightness (5,000 ANSI lumens) amongst 4000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age.

Other 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors currently available that you might want to consider include the NEC P501X (£1,287.25) which has better reviews.

1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The NEC NP-P501X supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this NEC data projector). This data projector also support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA) and 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

This data projector's resolution (1600 x 1200 (UXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution across all projectors of this age and spec.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) graphics resolution is the worst supported resolution across similar types of data projector.
