1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The Optoma DW333 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by recently released data projectors. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. In addition, this Optoma data projector support graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA) and 1024 x 768 (XGA) and 1280 x 1024 (SXGA). The resolution of all new 18000:1 contrast ratio data projectors ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) (worst) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) (best).

The Optoma DW333 is fairly light (only 2.5 kilograms) compared to most of the other data projectors that came out around the same time as the DW333. New 18000:1 contrast ratio data projectors have weights of between 2.5kg and 4.9kg.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Most comparable spec multimedia projectors that have been available for the last year do not support Full HD projection. The Optoma DW333 is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.

With a projector brightness of only 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma DW333 has one of the dimmer projector brightness amongst 18000:1 contrast ratio data projectors of this age. The dimmest projector brightness of 18000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been available for a comparable time to the DW333 is 3,000 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 3,400 ANSI lumens.
