Good Picture Quality

A few Optoma DX346 reviewers who bought the product considered that it had good picture quality. Several Optoma DX346 reviewers agreed that this projector had good colour saturation. In October last year B-K said “Good contrast allowing to look videos with superb colors”.

One customer who purchased it wrote that it was good for playing games on. Snowtan said in their review of this projector “Great for gaming movies and keeping your popcorn warm” and rated it as very good.

Good Product Quality

Several people who reviewed the Optoma DX346 concluded that it was good quality. Michael Robson rated the product as excellent and he wrote “Very pleased - good picture quality & quiet”. Mr. J. Gallagher mentioned in their review of this projector on Amazon in October last year “Great image quality for the price” and gave it a rating of 5 stars. Last year Simon Hunt mentioned in his Optoma DX346 review “Quality product at a reasonable price” and rated it as very good.

Easy to Use

Some customers mentioned that the Optoma DX346 was easy to setup. Albi mentioned in October last year “Easy to set up and quality picture when used with a first class source [ blue ray player]” in their review of this projector. Benjamin rated the Optoma DX346 4 stars and he mentioned “Smaller than I was expecting, this is easy to setup and connects to my devices really quickly” in his review of this projector. In October last year Theophilus wrote “Worked first time easy to set up” in their Optoma DX346 review and gave the product a rating of 4 stars.

A number of customers concluded that it was good value for money. Benjamin said in his review of the Optoma DX346 on Amazon “Great product for the price range”. Benjamin also wrote “Perfect for the price, as long as you are aware that this is not HD regardless of having hdmi ports”. Denise she said a few weeks ago “It's amazing! And good price too” in her Optoma DX346 review.

Good Sound Quality

A few people wrote in their reviews that this projector had good sound quality. Albi gave the Optoma DX346 a score of 5 stars and wrote in October last year “Audio is OK for a smallish room” in their review of this projector. In the same month Benjamin wrote on Amazon “Noise so try not to sit to close to it, also there is no audio out option”. Cambsman said “The next model up has audio out facility i believe, so can easily connect a set of speakers just a thought” in their review.

Like most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched around the same time as the DX346, the Optoma DX346 supports 3D image projection.

Other multimedia projectors which support 3D image projection currently available which you might also want to look at include the MX850UST[pl_1454745_price], or the MX850[pl_2718425_price] both from Benq which is cheaper.

There are a number of other data projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at including the Benq MS512[plb_2290289_price].

Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for around the same time as the DX346, the Optoma DX346 has a built-in speaker.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think the Benq MX850UST[plb_1454745_price] which is cheaper; or the Benq TW519[plb_1552764_price] which has better reviews are also worth considering.

There are a number of alternative multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker that you might also want to look at including the Benq MS512[plb_2290289_price].

The number of colours of the Optoma DX346 of 1,073.4 million is one of the highest amongst 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago. 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for around the same time as the DX346 have numbers of colours of between 1M and 1,100M.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Most data projectors of a similar spec and age to the DX346 do not support Full HD projection. The Optoma DX346 is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.
