Reasonably Priced

A few people wrote in their reviews that it was good value for money. Derek Sewkumar said on Amazon this year “One of the best DLP projectors on the market at present and great value for money too.I've had the use of the Optoma hd26 for over a year now” in his review. Derek Sewkumar also mentioned “Cost wise over priced compared to the Optoma hd26”. Djmel mentioned “Have found it to be very good value”.

Two Optoma HD26 reviewers said in their reviews that the Optoma HD26 was cheap. Expert website Projectorcentral.com mentioned “This year, Optoma has released the HD26, another sub-$1000 home video projector, as the next iteration in its inexpensive home theater line-up”. Good 3D Picture Quality

Five Optoma HD26 reviewers who reviewed this projector considered that it had a good 3D picture quality. Djmel wrote on Amazon “I suggest watching Hugo for a great 3d film2” in their review of the Optoma HD26. Kevin gave it a rating of 80 out of 100 and he mentioned “The 3D works well with universal DLP glasses ( I have Sain Sonic DLP from Amazon)” in his Optoma HD26 review. Kevin also said “2D and 3D movies play really nicely”.

Good Picture Quality

Two Optoma HD26 reviewers who reviewed the product thought it had good picture quality. One customer who bought it considered that it was good for playing games on. In November this year Amazon Customer said “Great beamer! I use it for gaming mostly and i love it!” in their Optoma HD26 review.

Techradar.com mentioned in their Optoma HD26 review on expert review site Techradar in November last year “This entry-level, Full HD beamer is a surprisingly capable home cinema performer”. Supports 3D Image Projection

The Optoma HD26 supports 3D image projection, which is unusual. Most of the other comparable spec data projectors that have been on the market for a similar time to the HD26 do not support 3D image projection.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors which support 3D image projection and we think the Optoma HD141[plb_2415610_price] which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Optoma HD26 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other projectors of this age and spec also have a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative data projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the Epson EH-TW490[plb_1731975_price] which is cheaper; or the Optoma HD141[plb_2415610_price] which has better reviews.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker which you might also want to consider including the Infocus IN1110A[plb_1561135_price].
