The Optoma HD36 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other similar spec data projectors that have been around for more than two years do not have a built-in speaker.

There are a number of other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might also want to consider including the Epson EH-TW5910[plb_1717178_price], or the Viewsonic PJD6544W[plb_1536138_price] which has better reviews; or the Optoma EH200ST[plb_2415609_price] which is cheaper.

The Optoma HD36 supports 3D image projection. Most of the other projectors of a comparable age and spec to the HD36 also support 3D image projection.

We compared all the other data projectors which support 3D image projection to this projector and we think the Optoma EH200ST[plb_2415609_price] which is cheaper; or the Epson EH-TW5910[plb_1717178_price], and the Optoma GT1080[plb_2415608_price] which has better reviews are also worth considering.
