3000:1 contrast ratio projectors built by Optoma have good ratings on average compared to other manufacturers. We also checked the reviews for all data projectors (not just 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors) and found that Optoma also has good ratings across its entire range.

Supports 3D Image Projection

Unlike most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago which do not support 3D image projection, the Optoma TX762 supports 3D image projection.

At 4,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma TX762 has a fairly bright projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors of this age and spec. The projector brightness of data projectors of a comparable spec and age to the TX762 range from 100 ANSI lumens to 8,000 ANSI lumens.

Quite Quiet Noise Level

The Optoma TX762 does not support Full HD projection, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other projectors of a comparable age and type to the TX762 also do not support Full HD projection.

We compared all the other projectors which also support Full HD projection to this projector and we think the Epson 475Wi[plb_1778250_price], or the Hitachi CP-WX8255A[plb_1884022_price] which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Most 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released around the same time as the TX762 do not support WiFi connectivity. The Optoma TX762 is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.
