Supports 3D Image Projection

The Optoma X303 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for more than two years also have a built-in speaker.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the Vivitek D556, or the Epson EB-Z9875U which has better reviews.

1920 X 1080 (HD 1080) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma X303 is 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's 8% more resolution than a 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by data projectors of a similar age and type to the X303. 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) is also supported by this projector. In addition, this Optoma projector support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 720 (HD 720) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). Across all projectors that are a comparable age to the X303 the worst resolution is 640 x 400 and the best is 4096 x 2160.

The Optoma X303 has a fairly high number of colours (1,073.4 million) compared to most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched around the same time as the X303. 4 Reasons Against

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that have been available for around the same time as the X303, the Optoma X303 does not support Full HD projection.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection to this projector and we think the Vivitek D552 (£338.32), the Viewsonic PJD7820HD, or the Epson EB-Z9875U which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most projectors that were launched around the same time as the X303 do not support WiFi connectivity. The Optoma X303 is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

Other projectors which also support WiFi connectivity that you might want to look at include the EB Z9870U (£12,523.20), or the EB-Z11005 (£10,189.20) both from Epson or the Optoma EX400 (£533.26).

At 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma X303 has a relatively average projector brightness compared to most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for more than two years.

There are a number of alternative 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors currently available which you might also want to consider including because of it's better review score, the PJD6245 (£422.36), or the PJD5483S (£252.00) both from Viewsonic or the Optoma X302 (£409.51).

If you are looking for a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to consider the X316 (£318.99) (3,200 ANSI lumens), the S316 (£322.89) (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the X307 (£951.86) (3,300 ANSI lumens) all from Optoma which is also higher rated.
