Has a Built-In Speaker
The Optoma X306ST has a built-in speaker, unlike most of the other multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago which do not have a built-in speaker.
We compared this projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think the Optoma GT1080 (£599.99), the LG PA1000 (£600.56), and the Epson EB-1930 (£540.90) which has a better Rating is also worth considering.
+6 More reasons for

The Optoma X306ST supports 3D image projection, which is unusual. Most of the other multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the X306ST do not support 3D image projection.
It may also be worth also looking at one of the other projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including the Optoma GT1080 (£599.99), the LG PA1000 (£600.56), or the Epson EB-1930 (£540.90) which has a better Rating.
1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution
The Optoma X306ST supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) data projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by similar spec projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the X306ST. The best resolution of all multimedia projectors of a comparable age and spec to the X306ST is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and the worst is 640 x 480 (VGA).
If the resolution of this data projector is too low for you then you might want to consider the EH200ST (£626.57) (1024 x 768 (XGA)|1280 x 1024 (SXGA)|1360 x 768 (WXGA)|1600 x 1200 (UXGA)|640 x 480 (VGA)|800 x 600 (SVGA)), or the HD25e (1024 x 768 (XGA)|1280 x 1024 (SXGA)|1280 x 768 (WXGA)|1600 x 1200 (UXGA)|640 x 480 (VGA)|800 x 600 (SVGA)) both from Optoma or the Viewsonic PJD6353s (£169.54) (1024 x 768 (XGA)) which also has a higher Rating.
